I am the Chief Flying Instructor with Templepilots Paragliding - it was my passion for flying which led me to establish Templepilots Paragliding, with my wife Anita, in 1999. My first exposure to paragliding was in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, in 1995, so I have now been flying for close to 20 years. I took early retirement from the Indian Air Force in 1993, having served the country for 22 years. Over the years, I have flown in many places - in Europe, in Turkey and also in Asia. My most memorable trips have been to Àger, in Spain, Schilthorn (Switzerland), St. Hilaire (France), Ölüdeniz (Turkey) and Candi Dasa (Bali, Indonesia). Closer home, flying with Griffon vultures in the Himalayas (these vultures are the largest raptors in the Himalaya) is an unforgettable experience, as is paragliding over Lake Pavna, in Kamshet, in the Sahyadris. But if there are any paragliding destinations that I prefer above the others, it would be the Himalayas and Bali
