From: Delhi, IndiaI have been in private practice for almost 25 years. Besides my practice, I have a popular seminar series, which teaches people with no medical training to save lives in emergencies. And though my wellness seminars are full of warnings, prevention and emergency measures, they come with a dose of humour which I hope leaves a positive and lasting impact on the audience. As a family, we like to holiday off the beaten path, and I love to hike in and around Dharamsala, and ski in Gulmarg. When we go on holiday, my children now assume all mums stop by the roadside to help accident victims or perform emergency care in flights! I have treated frostbite, snakebites, high-altitude pulmonary oedema, broken bones, victims of drowning and mass casualties of road accidents, in addition to the usual medical problems in my day-to-day practice .
