Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Ubud
As soon as you arrive in Bali, you will be transferred to Ubud, Bali’s cultural heart and a flourishing crafts center. The city boasts of incredible art homes, brilliant classical dancers and musicians and numerous sacred temples. You will be taken to your pre-booked hotel to settle your belongings, after which you can head out to explore the shimmering and buzzing market of Ubud.
The picturesque lined cafes and restaurants, street shops and the artist's craft work are the prime temptations of this seductive town. Later at night, post a lip-smacking meal of dinner, you will move back to your hotel.
Day 2: Ubud - Tanah Lot - Uluwatu - Jimbaran - Ubud
Rise to a beautiful day and savor a hearty breakfast. Head out to explore the vibrant sites of Bali. The first one to visit is the Monkey Forest, where the bouncing monkeys living in the green forest swing from branches to branches in a playful manner. The site of monkeys feeding on bananas gives you a smile, moreover, the site also offers beautiful paths through a leafy nutmeg forest.
Moving further, you will encounter the Saraswati temple, which is dedicated to the Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of learning, literature and art. The architecture and the carvings of this temple lure tourists from all around the world. After lunch, you will discover two more stunning temples, Tanah Lot Temple and Uluwatu Temple. Tanah Lot temple is constructed on a mammoth rock about three acres in size and 20 meters into the sea, whereas the Uluwatu Temple is nestled on a 70-meter-high cliff protruding above the sea. Both are very beautifully constructed Balinese temples nestled at lovely locations.
At dusk, have an insight into the Balinese cultural by witnessing the Kecak Dance Performance. At night head to Jimbaran for dinner where the open-air beach restaurant gives one a laid-back relaxing feeling after touring the entire day. Later, drive back to Ubud for an overnight stay.
Day 3 : Ubud – Tagalalang – Kintamani – Ulun Danu Beratan – Munduk – Lovina
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel, after which you can head out to explore the mountainous side of Bali. Walk through the rice terraces to experience the beauty of the natural contours of the hills. On the way to Kintamani, visit the Ulun Danu Beratan temple, nestled in a gorgeous setting with the picturesque background of Lake Beratan. To feed your wanderlust, the temple at the lake is also encompassed by misty mountains making it a serene place to venture.
Relish your lunch at mid-day, after which you will go to Munduk waterfalls. You will meander through the forest, listening to the roaring sounds of water falling on the stones. You will reach it in about 15 minutes covering a distance of 300 m from the village of Munduk.
Then you will head to the Banajar Hot Springs and give your body some rest after walking the entire day. The sacred hot springs are set in the midst of the jungle in a beautifully landscaped tropical garden, close to Lovina Beach, where you will stay overnight.
Day 4 : Lovina - Amed
Rise up early in the morning as today you will have a mesmerizing encounter with the Dolphins. At dawn, the boat ride will take you to the coast of Lovina, where the sightings of Dolphin pods will enthrall you in one glance. As soon as the sun first rays rest on the surface of the water, the Dolphins appear and then swim in a fascinating formation. If you are lucky, they might even swim and jump alongside your boat.
Later, after filling your stomach with a hearty breakfast, you will proceed towards the coastal road to Amed, where the black and white sand beach offers a picture-perfect sunset from Jemuluk Bay. Relax in the surroundings, read a book, order some cocktail or simply just see the time passing by, this beach favors all. You will have an overnight stay at Amed.
Day 5 : Amed to Lombok (Gili Air)
Today, you are set to explore the Gili Islands. First, you will proceed to a little unknown beach called Karangasem, known for its tranquility. Then proceed further to Padang Bai harbor, from where a boat will take you to the Gili Islands.
The Gili Islands comprises three small islands - Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air. You will explore Gili Air, where the incredible quietness, turquoise water, and sea turtles will welcome you to Gili Air. Overnight in Gili Air.
Day 6 : Gili Islands
Relish a fantastic breakfast at your hotel. Morning is at leisure for you to explore the islands on your own. Have a magical experience watching the gentle marine animals or you can go snorkeling or simply rest at the beaches of Gili Trawangan and Gili Meno. You will surely be captivated by these amazing beach-fun options and water-based activities at Gili Islands.
Day 7 : Lombok (Gili Air) to Bali
Wake to the beautiful morning in the Gili Islands, after breakfast proceeds towards the harbor to catch a ferry back to Bali, where the night-scenes are waiting for you to explore. In the evening, explore the buzzing clubs, pubs and restaurants in Kuta and Seminyak. Relish the local cuisine and post-dinner, head back to your pre-booked hotel in Kuta.
Day 8 : Kuta - Legian - Seminyak
Kuta hustles and bustles with lively scenes and cheerful people all around. Take a stroll through the vibrant markets that showcases Bali surfboards, faux leather sandals, Bali print T-shirts and colorful sarongs and fabrics to buy. You can even savor local cuisine at various cafes and restaurants.
If you wish for therapy or massage, it is also at a walking distance. Spend your night in one of the popular discos of Bali, where you can groove on peppy numbers and interact with people. If you are not a party person, you can stroll through the beach, and visit cafes for some great coffee. Kuta buzzes till late at night, so make sure you spend a fantastic time. Stay overnight at Kuta.
Day 9 : Kuta - Departure
Today is the last day of your Bali tour, after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flights home.
