Itinerary
Day 1: Thane – Gokarna
Keep your bags ready with all the necessities and clothing for a beach vacation. Do carry your trekking shoes, hats, and other things required for the trek. Then head to LTT (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus) railway station and meet your travel team by 3:00 PM. Board the 12619/Matsyagandha Express at 3:40 PM and enjoy your overnight journey to Gokarna.
Day 2: Gokarna
On arriving at Gokarna at around 5:00 AM, head to your home stay. Freshen up and get some rest before having a relishing breakfast at 7:00 AM. Then get ready and start your Gokarna Beach Trek through the Paradise Beach by 8:00 AM. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this stretch of beautiful, clean waters at Paradise Beach (or Full-Moon Beach) offers mesmerizing views. As you trek along, enjoy the beauty of the multi-hued horizon and pretty shell-pairs on your path. Walk further to reach the secluded Half-Moon Beach (named so because of its half-moon shape) adorned with crystal clear waters that abound in tiny fishes. Proceed with your trek up to the popular Om Beach, which got its name due to a unique ‘Om’ shape. You can see numerous tourists relaxing on this beach and enjoying sea-side delicacies at its cafes and shacks. Furthermore, trek along the beautiful Kudle Beach, which offers stunning views of pristine waters kissing its white sands. By 3:00 PM, reach the Gokarna Beach and have a delicious lunch. After trekking on the offbeat trail, proceed to Gokarna Road Station at 4:00 PM and at 4:58 PM, catch the 12620/Matsyagandha Express for your return journey.
Day 3: Gokarna – Thane
Arrive at Thane Station at 5:53 AM and by 6:35 AM, reach the LTT Station for your journey back home, with wonderful memories of your trip.
