Itinerary
Day 1: Thane – Gorakhgad
Once you have your bags ready, proceed to Pritam Hotel Dadar (E) at 6:00 AM and meet the team at Kotak Mahindra ATM near the hotel. You will be picked up from Teen Hath Naka Junction at 6:30 AM from where you will travel to the base village, Dehri. Arrive at Dehri by 9:00 AM and have a filling breakfast. After a brief introduction at 10:00 AM, gear up for an amazing Gorakhgad Trek. The adventurous Gorakhgad Fort Trekking involves walking through enchanting caves, forests, and waterfalls giving you a feeling of being one with nature. En route, behold the vast greenery and from the top of the fort, enjoy views of the surrounding Sahyadri ranges, Siddhagad, and Ahupe Ghat. Reach the caves by 1:00 PM and have your lunch there. At 2:00 PM, start exploring the caves of Gorakhgad for an enchanting experience. There is also the Gorakhnath Cave Temple inside a deep, large cave on the Gorakhgad Hill. After exploration, begin the descend by 3:00 PM and reach the base village at around 6:00 PM. Relax and have your evening snacks at the village. At 7:00 PM, you will start your return journey and reach Mumbai by 10:00 PM, cherishing the beautiful memories of Gorakhgad.
