ITINERARY:

DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT BIKANER:

Arrive at the heritage city of Bikaner on your own. Check in at the hotel (Maharaja’s Palace). Have a delicious lunch at the hotel which will be served from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. At 3:00 PM leave to take a 35 km drive towards Jodhpur to visit the famous Karni Mata Temple, also known as the Rat Temple. On the way back you can take a tour of the camel breeding farm which is also Asia's only camel research center. If time allows you can also visit the Royal Cenotaphs. Return to the hotel. Have a traditional royal dinner with the Rajput family with barbeque and bonfire. Stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 02: BIKANER

Bikaner attracts travellers who want to get away from the hustle bustle and have a better desert experience than the crowded with tourists Jaisalmer city. Enjoy Breakfast at the hotel and then leave to visit the Junagarh Fort around 11:00 AM. Admire a fine blend of Mughal, Gujarati and Rajput styles of architecture. Later enjoy your lunch at a renowned restaurant of Bikaner. At 3:00 PM leave for a desert safari. Hop on a camel and take a 2 hour camel safari across the mighty Thar Desert. Enjoy sipping hot tea while looking at the beautiful sunset at the sand dunes. Spend the night at the camps in the middle of the desert with blue starry sky. Enjoy traditional performance of Kalbelia dancers on folk music. Later have dinner and spend the night gazing at the stars.

DAY 03: DEPARTURE

Wake up with a beautiful sunrise and relish your breakfast. You will be taken to the hotel to freshen-up. After lunch depart and continue your further journey.
