You visit the famous village of Vashisht, known for its hot springs on the third day. The sulphur-rich water of its ponds is believed to have therapeutic qualities, healing different kinds of ailments. Here, you will get the opportunity to take a rejuvenating dip in the soothing waters. During the winter season, when the whole landscape is enveloped in a shining layer of snow, skiing can be enjoyed here. It is also a hub for zorbing and paragliding, be it winters or summers. The visit to this valley will give you a glimpse of the true beauty of the region. You will also go to the sacred Manu Temple in Old Manali. This shrine is built on the place, where Sage Manu is believed to have meditated after coming to earth.

ITINERARY

 

Day 1:  Explore Old Manali -Jogni Waterfall Hike
After arriving at the base camp in Manali, you will keep your belongings. Later, you will head out to spend the entire day at leisure. At first, you will go for a hike to Jogni Waterfalls. A bit of a jungle walk will take you through Manu temple. A little further walk will take you to the top of the waterfall, from where you will get grand views of nature. Relax for a while to take a moment of your surroundings. Then, head to Vashistha temple to take blessing in the soothing hot water Sulphur Bath, after which spend some leisure time at the German bakery.

 

Day 2: Trek from Manali to Solang
After the sun peeps out, you will report at the base camp in Old Manali for the registration. Then, you will embark for the trek to the breath-taking Solang Valley. You'll be thrilled to see the celebrated Manu Temple dedicated to God Manu, known for creating the human. After exploration, head towards a 13 km trek in about 4-5 hours to reach Solang Valley. You will sleep under the clear skies in the lap of the wonderful Himalayas. Overnight stay in a guesthouse/homestay.

 

Day 3: Solang to Patalsu Peak 
Today your day will start early as you will go for a trek to the captivating Patalsu Peak (4,220m). At first, you will walk through the open meadows and then will pass through the forests. Walking on the lush green carpet of winding and uneven terrains will take you to the summit. Amazingly, you will be thrilled to see snow here, even in summer. The sweeping views of Hanuman Tibba, Deo Tibba, Shitidhar, Friendship and mountains of the Ladakhi and Dhauladhar Ranges will be some of the most delightful moments of your trek. After appreciating nature, you will start descending back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 4: Trek from Solang Valley to the campsite in Old Manali.
In the morning, after having breakfast, you will delve into zip lining. Later, you will trek back from Solang Valley to the campsite via a same old route through Shanag. Your trip will end here.
