Itinerary:

 

Day 01: Bangalore to Manchanabele
The Manchanabele River Side Night Trek begins with a pick-up from Bangalore, and then you proceed to Manhanabele Reservoir, located around 40 km from the state capital.

 

Day 02: Arrival at Manchanabele | Trekking | Water Sports | Manchanabele to Bangalore

Upon reaching the Manachanabele Reservoir, enjoy tea and some snacks, and then begin trekking. About an hour’s hike, which will be quite easy, will take you to the peak. The landscape of Karnataka will look even more beautiful illuminated by stars and the moon. When you are at the top, you will enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

 

Light up a campfire and sit beside it sharing the stories of your previous thrilling excursions. If you want, you can slip into your sleeping bag to have some rest before the sunrise. The sight of the sun, as it comes out on the horizon is one of the highlights of this trip. This is the perfect moment for you to indulge in a photography session. With the memory card of your camera full, begin the downhill journey and reach the base camp. The trek will take you along the Arkavathi River.

 

While here, you can try some exciting water sports like kayaking and swimming. An expert guide here will teach you a little about the sports and the safety measures, and then you are ready to try the activities yourself. Do them until you are completely tired.
