DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 01 – JAIPUR

In order to honour Prince Albert during his visit to India in 1883, Jaipur was painted pink and it has been popularly known as the Pink City ever since. Jaipur is such a perfect mix of new and old architecture, with its rugged terrain, old forts and modern buildings. It is said to have been built and designed according to the Shilpa Shastra.
The first stop we make in the city is the very popular and one of the most photographed monuments in the world – Hawa Mahal. The day is spent savoring the different tastes, smells and flavors of the city. From the delectable kachoris and sweets to the exquisite jewelry and dresses, there is something for everyone!

DAY 2 – JAIPUR - BIKANER 360 KMS (7 HOURS)
After breakfast we leave for Bikaner. After reaching there we check in to the hotel and rest for a bit and then head out for a city tour. We visit the famous sandstone fort at Junagarh and National Camel Breeding farm, followed by shopping! Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 3 – BIKANER - JAISALMER - SAM SAND DUNES (400KMS - 7HOURS)
This has got to be the most exciting day of the trip as you get to witness and be a part of the very famous Jaisalmer Desert Festival. You are in the heart of Thar Desert, experiencing the local culture in the form of dance, music, art and adventure. Watching the sun set and the moon rise with miles of nothingness around you is an experience so surreal that it’ll always be a part of your fondest travel memories. There is a lot here to keep you entertained.

DAY 4 – SAM SAND DUNES - JAISALMER (40KMS - 1 HOUR)
The next on our travel menu is one of the most sought after travel destinations in the country – Jaisalmer! By lunch time we reach the outskirts of the city and stop to marvel at the haunting views of the cluster of cenotaphs. Jaisalmer is dotted with many Havelis, each more beautiful than the other, seeped in history! We visit the Patwaon Ki Haveli that was built during the first half of the 19th century by the 5 sons of Gumanchand. It is made of red sandstones and boasts detailed fret works like ornate jaalis (net), facades and jharokhas (vantage points) that open in to the courtyard or the main street. After that we go to the Jaisalmer Fort and end the day soaking in the beauty of the sunset sitting on the banks of Gadisar Lake.

DAY 5 – JAISALMER - JODHPUR (300 KMS - 6 HOURS)
This day starts early and post breakfast we head out to explore another fascinating destination – Jodhpur. Known as the Blue City and Sun City, this place enjoys temperate climate throughout the year. It is the second capital of the Kingdom of Mewar and it is here in Jodhpur that the world famous delicacy Dal Bati Churma originated!
After resting for a bit, we visit the famous Mehrangarh Fort that was built in 1459 by Rao Jodha and has been a part of popular films like The Jungle Book, Shudh Desi Romance and The Dark Knight Rises. Next stop is Jaswant Thada, a memorial made in white marble. It was built in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh in 1889 by his son Maharaja Sardar Singh.

DAY 6 – JODHPUR – UDAIPUR via KUMBHALGARH (300 KMS - 6 HOURS)
Another morning, another exciting jaunt! We have our breakfast and leave for the city of lakes – the very beautiful and serene Udaipur! But before we get to Udaipur we have some important stops to make. The first one is Ranakpur – a marble stone wonder built in the 14th century. It has some intricately designed sculptures and deserves a good look. Post that, we head to the Kumbhalgarh Fort and wall. This wall is said to be the second longest man-made wall in the world after the Great Wall of China. This place is a lesson in history and the tales of the great Mewar warriors would leave you in awe. Kumbhalgarh is also the birthplace of the great Maharana Pratap. We can enjoy the sunset here and then leave for Udaipur for overnight stay.

DAY 7 – UDAIPUR LOCAL
Udaipur attracts the most number of tourists in Rajasthan. It’s a neat and clean place with a lot to offer. We start our day with a visit to a very popular shooting location, Saheliyon – ki – Bari. It’s a beautifully landscaped garden with an equally beautiful history. Post this we go to the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandir (Museum of Folk Arts). Our next stop is at the most popular tourist spot in the city – the City Place. It is often called the largest palace complex in India and one section of it still houses the royal family. For the perfect view of the sunset, we take a boat ride on Lake Pichola. We return to the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 8 – UDAIPUR - JAIPUR (430 KMS, 6 HOURS)
The next morning we have breakfast and leave for Chittorgarh, the land of the brave Mewar clan and immerse ourselves in the tales of Maharana Pratap, Meera Bai and Rani Padmini. After this we go for a small pilgrimage to Ajmer Sharif in Ajmer and Brahma Temple at Pushkar and then head out to Jaipur for overnight stay.

DAY 9 –JAIPUR LOCAL
We have breakfast and then head out to explore the city a little more. The first stop is Amber Fort which is famous for its Elephant rides but there’s no guarantee of getting a seat. So we can go there and try our luck! Even without the ride the place has a lot to keep you entertained. From the intricate paintings to the gorgeous courtyards and ramparts, there is a whole lot to be seen here. In the second half of the day, we visit the royal residence of Jaipur, the City Palace. We have an option of visiting Chokki Dhani in the evening. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 10 – JAIPUR AIRPORT
