Rajasthan is a perfect place to know the past of India through the forts and palaces of kings who ruled India for centuries.
 

Relish the local cuisine, indulge in shopping at the dazzling bazaars, explore the museums which have artifacts dating back to 18th  and 19th centuries. Drive through the Royal village of Khimsar and Pushkar. The amazing Khimsar Fort is 450 years old but its beauty remains the same. Take a ride to the Golden City - Jaisalmer. Get awestruck by the sunset at the sand dunes. Visit to the City of Lakes - Udaipur will be one of the best driving experiences you’ll have.

 

Itinerary:
 

Day 01: Delhi - Jaipur (280 Kms - 5 hours)
Arrive in Delhi on your own from where you will start your journey. Meet your fellow travelers, get comfortable driving with a group and get a hand on your personal radio set. Start your journey early morning so that you can reach Jaipur by afternoon. After lunch continue to traverse the Pink City - Jaipur. In the evening enjoy the Rajasthani Folk Music followed by traditional dancing. Relish a grand dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
 

Day 02: Jaipur - Khimsar (280 Kms - 5-6 hours)
After a delicious early breakfast leave for your onward journey to  Khimsar. Still home to a royal family, Khimsar Fort has been partly converted into a heritage hotel. After lunch at the hotel you will be amazed to see the vast collection of Vintage Cars owned by the Royal family. it’s a must visit!Know about their culture through the cultural program arranged in the evening. Have dinner and overnight stay.
 

Day 03: Khimsar
The sunrise can’t be missed here. It looks magical when the sun rays strike the walls of the Fort.After breakfast drive 16 Km from Khimsar fort to begin your wildlife tour. Reach Black Buck Sanctuary and keep your cameras ready! Herds of Black Buck, Chinkara and Bull Antelope are very common here.Later spend your evening sipping tea at the Sand Dunes Resort which is famous for the beautiful view of sunset. Have your dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 04: Khimsar – Jaisalmer (290 kms-  6 hrs)
Drive through the eternal Thar Desert. After you cross Pokhran there will be only desert on both the sides. Its a traveler’s dream to drive through such landscapes. By afternoon you will reach Jaisalmer also known as the Golden City of Rajasthan. After lunch spend your day at leisure. Stroll through the colourful markets of Jaisalmer in the evening. The Jaisalmer Fort looks majestic at night, take a walk around the fort. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 05: Jaisalmer
See the different side of the Jaisalmer Fort in the morning. A UNESCO world heritage site - Jaisalmer Fort was built in 10th century spread through the vast Thar desert. It’s home to 3000 people. The majestic fort is also known as “Sonar Quila” by the locals and in many parts of India. Spend your evening at the Sand Dunes Camps followed by a cultural program. Have dinner and overnight stay at the camps.


Day 06: Jaisalmer – Udaipur (500 kms - 8 hrs)
After an early breakfast leave for the longest leg of your tour to the City of Lakes - Udaipur, also known as the Venice of the East. The most romantic city in India is surrounded by beautiful views of lakes and its Royal Palaces. Take some rest at the hotel after a long tiring journey and overnight stay.


Day 07: Udaipur
Scenes of many Bollywood and Hollywood movies are shot in Udaipur. After breakfast you have the whole day to take a tour of the city. Visit the City Palace and admire its architecture. Take a boat ride along the Lake Pichola and see the magnificent Lake Palace followed by a stunning sunset. Have dinner at the Jagat Niwas Palace which is along the banks of Lake Pichola and enjoy the amazing view of dazzling Palaces of Udaipur.


Day 08: Udaipur – Pushkar (320 kms - 6 hours)
Relish your breakfast and leave to drive through the nomadic roads to reach your next destination Pushkar. By the evening you will reach Pushkar. Check-in at the hotel and take some rest. As it’s the last night of the tour, you are invited to dinner to have fun with fellow travellers today. Spend an eventful evening with a delicious dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 09: Pushkar – Delhi (400 kms-8 hrs)
After breakfast visit the famous Brahma temple which is  said to be the only Brahma temple in the world. Meet the spiritual side of yourself at Pushkar. After taking the blessings at Pushkar, leave for Delhi where your amazing trip will end. Surely you will have a lot of memories to cherish!
