ITINERARY

 

Day 1: Arrival in Negombo ​

Arrive in Negombo, which is a small coastal town in the beautiful Sri Lanka. The town has amazingly distinctive landscape; it gives feels of a resort. You will also be amazed to see numerous varieties of fishes available here in this town, which is why it is also called fishing village. On arriving, you will meet our representative who take you to hotel for check-in. After keeping your belongings and post a little rest, head-out to explore the local sightseeing places. You will also get your bike today, make sure you take a test run. Experience the beauty of Negombo up-close on your bike. .

 

Day 2: Negombo to Kitulgala (95 km | 2-3 hrs.)

In the morning, get ready with an amazing breakfast and then proceed to Kitulgala, which is known for a thrilling water-rafting, bird watching and trekking. Along the route, you will also pass through myriad towns and villages, located on the outskirts of Colombo. As you get close to Kelani River, keep your eyes on picturesque landscape. When you reach Kitulgala, you will see this town runs along the Kelani River, which is also the fourth longest river in Sri Lanka. On reaching, after a little rest and some food, begin rafting 6-7 km along the Kelani River.

 

Day 3 : Kitulgala - Nuwara Eliya (73 Km | 2-3 hrs)

Today morning, you will have a scenic day as you will leave Kitulgala, and head out for Nuwara Eliya, where you will be amazed to see flourishing greenery. Zoom through dense forests and tea fields, taking in the splendid perspective of the landscape. Nestled at a height of 1868 meters, Nuwara Eliya is known for its flavorsome tea and amazingly it is also known as Little England due its beautiful colonial architecture and chilly climate. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

 

Day 4 : Nuwara Eliya - Ella (55 Km | 1-2 hrs)

Kickstart your journey to Ella, which is a small town focused in tea plantations. Located at an elevation of 1041 m, this town is also houses the stunning Lipton’s seat, one of the most attractive viewpoints in Sri Lanka. You will be able to see majestic views of Uva and other Central, Southern and Eastern provinces of Sri Lanka. Enjoy a cup of tea at the roof and click pictures of the beautiful views.

Continue on your journey to Ella, a tranquil town giving travelers a taste of laid-back vibes. Enjoy picturesque sceneries of tea estates, lofty mountains and lush green hills. In recent years, Ella has become a major tourist destination.

 

Day 5 : Ella - Tissamaharama (88 km | 1-2 hrs)

After scrumptious meal of breakfast in the morning, start your bike tour to Sri Lanka again with a ride to Tissamaharama, located in the south. You will ride against the impressive background of Namunukala mountain range. You will ride pass the towns of Buttala and Kataragama, with a halt at Kataragama temple, devoted to Kataragama deviyo and Lord Kartikeya, the god of war. You can also visit the Buddhist Stupa and click pictures of it, after which proceed to the hotel for check-in. Spend the evening at your own leisure.

 

Day 6 : Tissamaharama - Mirissa (121 Km | 2-3 hrs)

Indulge in the splendid wildlife of Sri Lanka at the Yala National Park, and the second largest park, where the scenic drive in the forests will give you the opportunity to see great diversity in flora and fauna. You might spectacle wild water buffalos, elephants, sloth bears and leopards. Post safari, you will head-out to explore the village vibe of Mirissa. To reach this attractive village, you will zoom past Udawalawe National Park that runs along the Udawalawe reservoir. As you ride, notice the change in vegetation and feast your eyes on the encompassed bay. You will also be amazed by the gorgeous beach of Mirissa as it is considered as one of the best beaches of Sri Lanka. Enjoy time in restaurants, bars and shops you see when you arrive in this village.

 

Day 7: Mirissa to Colombo (150 km | 2-3 hrs.)

Today is the last exploration of your trip and you will go to capital city of Sri Lanka, Colombo. If time permits, you can explore Colombo and soak in its beautiful city vibes. In the evening, you can feast on some of the delicious dishes of Sri Lanka over a chat with your friends.

 

Day 8: Colombo to Negombo (37 km | 1-2 hrs.)​

In the morning, you will pack your bags and bid farewell to your tour operator and other team mates as today you will depart from Sri Lanka.
