Itinerary
Day 0: Mumbai to Nagpur
Leave home in time to catch the train at 8:15 PM. at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station. The Adventure Nation team will be there to greet you and help you board the overnight train to Nagpur.
Day 1: Nagpur to Tadoba
Disembark at Nagpur Railway Station, where you need to find local transport (preferably a taxi) to reach Tadoba Reserve. Grab delicious sumptuous breakfast and enjoy your first safari. After checking into the hotel, take some time to rest and freshen up, and then treat yourself to a delicious lunch at the hotel.
At around 1:00 PM, get ready to leave for the afternoon safari. Enjoy a great visual treat of nature and find yourself amazed by the wide variety of wildlife that you encounter. The open jeep safari is sure to give you some thrilling moments as you can catch a glimpse of not only tigers, but also leopards, sloth bears, gaur, wild dogs, hyenas, civet and other jungle cats. You will also spot many species of Indian deer like sambar, cheetal and nilgai, as well as the marsh crocodile. After the exciting safari, head back to the hotel and relax over an evening cup of tea. Enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Day 2: Tadoba National Park
Wake up to the morning sun, draw in a breath of fresh air, and get ready to experience the morning safari from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. You are very likely to witness a tiger at Tadoba National Park since there are no restricted areas in this sprawling wildlife reserve that spans 625 sq kms. Another one of the many attractions in the park is a lake that hides between deciduous forests and rolling hills. You can often spot a leopard in this area of the park.
After the thrilling activity, head to your hotel for freshening up, and have some lunch. Then get ready for another safari stint between 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Day 3: Tadoba to Nagpur
Today you enjoy the last safari of your trip to Tadoba National Park. So, get up early and leave by 5:30 AM from the hotel for the activity. Say hello to the various birds like Rofous Treepie (also known as the tiger’s dentist) and colourful butterflies, as you make your way through the dense woodland vegetation of the park. If you are lucky, you might even come across reptiles like Indian python, common Indian monitor and the Indian cobra. It can sometimes be overwhelming to be a part of the entrancing wilderness for so long, and you might not want to head back home to the city life. Nevertheless, freshen up at the hotel and prepare for checkout. Reach Nagpur Railway Station through a private vehicle to catch your train to Mumbai.
