Thamsar Pass Trek in Mandi Himachal is one of the most alluring passes in the Dhauladhar. It’s a must do to see the untouched and scenic natural beauty of the Dhualadhar Himalayas, as the trail is one of the less travelled trails in the region. Wander through verdant forest and breathtaking landscapes of Chhota Bhangal and pass through remote but beautiful villages of Barot, Badagran, Rajgundha and Kukkargandha. You will be stunned to see the lush meadows of Plachak and Panhartu. Few waterfalls on the way and the sight of those alpine flowers will leave you refreshed. Thamsar Pass connects the Chhota Bhangal to Bara Bhangal region and it’s one of the most enchanting experiences of trekking in Himachal Pradesh.

Thamsar Pass Trek will let you explore nature at its best and you get a chance to take an inside look at the Gaddi people’s lifestyle who are living a unique life amidst harsh situations and in rough terrains at such high altitude. The trek is not only known for its mesmerising beauty but also for its trekking trails with varying difficulty levels. One has to be tough mentally and physically to successfully overcome the various challenges on the trek. If you do it the right way, the trek can prove to be a life changing and an inspiring experience for you. Just keep going and hold the positive attitude till you come back home!
