This Trans Himalayan safari by jeep takes you from the pleasant hospitable hill town of Manali to the high altitude, exotic desert region of Spiti, Lahaul & Ladakh, located at the India – Tibet border. The geographical and cultural features of this region are similar to Tibet. The journey takes you over five Himalayan passes including Kunzum-La at 14, 930 ft in Spiti and Tanglang La at 17,000 ft in Ladakh before reaching Leh. The landscape of the region changes dramatically from the lush green valleys’ to the dry and barren mountains that change colour as we drive along.
The valleys of Kullu, Spiti & Lahoul offer unsurpassed thrills for keen adventurers. Located deep in the heart of the Himalayas, this region has preserved its history, culture and traditions of over a thousand years. The ancient Hindu temples and the 1000-year-old Buddhist monastery at Tabo underline the thriving presence of the two religions co-existing since time immemorial.

Day - 1 Arrive in Manali. In the afternoon, Manali Sightseeing. O/n hotel.
Day - 2 Day excursion to Nagar to visit Nagar Castle, Jagatsukh temples & Roerich Art Gallery. O/n hotel.
Day - 3 Drive to Kaza. O/n hotel.
Day - 4 Day excursion to Ki monastery & Kibber village. O/n hotel.
Day - 5 Day excursion to Tabo and Dhankar. O/n hotel.
Day - 6 Drive to Keylong / Jispa, the two small villages on the bank of Bhaga river. O/n hotel.
Day - 7 Drive to Sarchu. O/n fixed tented camp.
Day - 8 Full day drive to Leh. O/n hotel
Day - 9 Witness the opening ceremony of the “Ladakh festival.In the afternoon, walk up to Shanti Stupa. O/n hotel
Day - 10 Transfer to Leh airport to board the flight for onward destination.

2). Domestic airfare from Leh to onward destination.
3). Travel insurance covering medical evacuation, hospitalization, air evacuation, baggage insurance and trip cancellation charges.
4). Any optional trips other than specified in the programme.
5). Any meals other than specified in the programme (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

7). Any personal expenses such as alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, tips, gratuities, laundry etc.
