Even though it is a year-round destination except the monsoon season, the weather of this place is also a factor that needs to be considered before coming here. During the months from November to February, which is the ideal period to visit, the temperature here hovers between 5 degree Celsius and 25 degree Celsius. It becomes hot and humid, between the months of March and April, when the temperature ranges between 30 and 40 degree Celsius. The monsoon season, from June to September, receives an average rainfall of 382 cm.

By Road:
You can either hire a taxi or can avail a bus service to reach Riverwood Forest Retreats Pench. The driving route is as follows:
Nagpur – Khawasa – Turia (approximately 85 km)
Nagpur – Khawasa – Suktara – Badalpar – Ghatkohka – Bhodki – Barelipar – Karmajhiri (approximately 135 km)
Another option to reach here is from Jabalpur.
Jabalpur – Seoni – Rukhad – Khawasa – Turia (approximately 215 km)
By Rail:
The nearest railway station to this place is in Nagpur. This railway station is easily accessible from different Indian cities.
By Air:
The nearest airport to this region is in Nagpur. On reaching the Nagpur airport, you can either board a bus or hire the taxi to reach to Khawasa on Nagpur-Jabalpur highway, which is about 80 km from Nagpur.
