Pancheshwar is a serene place located at the foothills of India and Nepal border, on the confluence of River Sharda and River Kali near Lohaghat in Champawat district in Uttarakhand. Taking a dip at the confluence of river here is considered to be very sacred. People from all over India come here to take a dip and wash away their sins. Pancheshwar is a great place for bird watching. There are a lot of birdwatching trails and places in Uttarakhand, and Pancheshwar is one of them. It's a paradise for bird watchers. There are about 180 species of birds in Pancheshwar. Walk through broad-leaved forests full of oak, horse chestnut and majestic trees to spot those rare species of birds.

It’s the land of mountains, so you might spot Himalayan Bulbul, Warblers, Sunbirds, Flycatchers, Tree Creepers, Nuthatches, Grosbeaks, Yuhas, Sibias, Fulvates, Jungle Myna and many more. ITINERARY

Day 01

Arrive at Pancheshwar fishing retreat on your own early in the morning. Spend your day at leisure exploring the place around. Orientation will be done around a campfire in the evening. After that have your dinner and stay overnight in the camp.

Day 02

Rise early in the morning to have breakfast on the river bed. Enjoy birding around the region with your guide, who will take you to places where there is the best chance to spot these beautiful creatures. There are about 180 species of birds in the region, so this will be the best opportunity you have to fulfill your dream of birding and capturing those moments for lifetime. Return to the retreat and have your dinner by a bonfire. Stay overnight at the camps.

Day 03

Relish your breakfast in the morning and leave to find bird trails with your guide. You can also indulge in short treks nearby to Mehshar Kund and Thamari Kund, Madkot hot water sulphur springs or  visit the Kalamuni top and Nanda Devi temple. Return to the retreat to have dinner. Stay overnight at the camps.

Day 04

Relish your breakfast in the morning and leave for your onwards journey.
